The group picture – We all posed for the obligatory team pic! But who's the dummy?

The Charities attending were Berkshire Woman's Aid against domestic abuse, Reading Family Aid helping children living with poverty and disadvantages, P.A.C.T. who offer adoption guidance, No:5 offer counselling for the 10-25-year olds and RAHAB who look after those affected by exploitation including modern-day slavery. Graham invited each of them to give an overview of their charities' activities to our guests. The Alzheimer's Society representative was sadly unable to attend but requested a pack of information for them to include on their media sites.
Many of the guests have expressed their plan to join the run this year, either individually or as part of their charity teams, with a challenge from a ROC Search employee, who claims he will win this year's race!
All this was followed by an informal evening where all our guests mixed and exchanged information about their organisations whilst enjoying a light buffet and refreshments.
Our thanks to the RocSearch team for organising this excellent reception for us. Also, a BIG thank you to all our club members who joined us there to help support this launch, the Santa Run Team really appreciated it.
