ELIZABETH FRY HOSTEL
At the Elizabeth Fry Hostel the aim is to protect the public and reduce re-offending by supporting women involved in the Criminal Justice System to make positive changes to their lives. They are located in Reading, and provide support and monitoring for women over 18 in a residential setting.

HOME START READING
In order to give children the best possible start in life, Home-Start helps young families going through difficult times, whether because of bereavement, illness or disability of the child or the parent, post-natal depression, family breakdown, loneliness and isolation, or stress in coping with a number of young children.

SUE RYDER HOSPICE
Specialist palliative care services, aiming to help people live as well as possible with the effects of their illness by offering care, symptom management and support by a team of health care professionals.

THE SALVATION ARMY
The club makes donations to The Salvation Army, Reading.

ALEXANDER DEVINE CHILDRENS HOSPICE SERVICE
A Children's hospice for the children of Berkshire and surrounding counties. Patrons include Sir Michael Parkinson CBE and The Right Honourable Theresa May MP.

THE THAMES VALLEY & CHILTERN AIR AMBULANCE TRUST
The Thames Valley & Chiltern Air Ambulance Trust (TVACAA) is a registered charity and functions solely to raise the funds required to keep the helicopter flying. No funding is received from Central Government or the National Lottery. This means every single penny needed is raised by the community and businesses of Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire

The Bruce Trust
This charity provides canal boats with wheel chair access. Four boats are based at Bedwyn on the Kennet & Avon canal enabling those who are wheelchair bound to enjoy the pleasures of a canal holiday

THRIVE
A national charity supported by us at a local level. Thrive champions the benefits of gardening to individuals and organisations, as well as teaching techniques and practical applications so that anyone with a disability can take part and enjoy gardening.

STREET PASTORS
Street Pastors is an inter-denominational Church response to urban problems, engaging with people on the streets to care, listen and start a dialogue. It was pioneered in London in January 2003 by Rev Les Isaac, Director of the Ascension Trust, and has seen some remarkable results, including drops in crime in areas where teams have been working. There are now some 9000 trained volunteers in around 250 teams around the United Kingdom.

LAUNCHPAD
Launchpad Reading (formerly Reading Single Homeless Project) is a registered charity that helps some of Reading's most vulnerable and disadvantaged people to turn around their lives and fulfil their potential. They provide supported housing to single people who have a history of homelessness.

DAISY'S DREAM
Daisy's Dream supports children and their families affected by both life threatening illness and bereavement, throughout Berkshire and the surrounding areas.

BRITISH RED CROSS
8,000 donated by the club as a contribution towards a Mobile First Aid unit based in Reading.

A Reading charity committed to helping local people who are in need.

YELDALL MANOR
Yeldall Manor is a Christian charity providing comprehensive residential rehabilitation, including detoxification, to men aged between 18 and 65, with long-term drug and/or alcohol dependencies. It is situated in Hare Hatch, Reading.

JUST AROUND THE CORNER (JAC)
This is a local charity which requires financial help in the work with young people deterring them from involvement with alcohol or drugs or crime and dealing with the fallout from abuse and family break up, often working proactively to rebuild broken relationships.
