Reading
The Rotary Club of Reading, one of seven clubs in the Town, was formed in 1922, and has served Reading for nearly 90 years. The Club has approximately 50 members drawn from the local business and professional community.
Membership usually results from an introduction of an existing member but we are always looking out for new faces who are interested in giving voluntary service to the community. If you feel that you can help in this way and would like to learn more about our work and the time and costs involved please email us with your enquiry. Our Membership Secretary will then let you have an information pack.
Members meet weekly on a Tuesday for a business lunch at the Penta Hotel, Oxford Road, Reading.
The Club does considerable work in the community, which is undertaken through four main service committees:
For more detailed information about these committees, please contact one of our members.
